Website and logo design for Hela Livet

Taking an online course for website creation is not always the first option when someone wants to change their digital presence. For Karin Skeppstedt, however, it became the beginning of something far greater than a new website. It marked a shift in how she viewed her role as a business owner online.

With clear guidance, a supportive structure and the freedom to create independently, Karin was able to build a digital presence that truly reflects both herself and her work.

Hela Livet: A space for wholeness, presence and human warmth

Karin Skeppstedt is a facilitator of reflective conversations and courses through Hela Livet. She offers guided conversations, meditation and courses focused on personal growth.

Her work is grounded in a holistic perspective where all aspects of life are welcome, and every interaction is approached with respect, presence and openness. With a deep understanding of inner processes, Karin has created a space that holds both lightness and challenge.

From technical stress to confidence through a website course

When Karin first reached out, she wanted to update her website but felt uncertain about how much she would be able to do herself. The technical aspects felt overwhelming, and she did not know where to begin.

Instead of taking over the process, I suggested that she start with my online course for website creation. Since Karin wanted to gain both control and understanding of her digital presence, the course became a natural next step. It allowed her to create her own website with both structure and support.

Through email support, we discussed domain names, page structure and content, which helped her feel safe and confident early in the process.

Creating a website independently with structure and visual support

Within the course, Karin had access to clear video lessons, pedagogical templates and a well thought out workflow. She could follow each step at her own pace, making the process approachable and manageable.

Because the course is designed for solopreneurs who want to build their own website without getting stuck in technical details, it suited her needs perfectly.

Alongside the website, Karin also wanted to update her logo. The course includes an optional add on where participants can receive help designing a simple, vector based logo. Karin chose this option and already had a strong visual idea.

She wanted to use an ensō, a circular brushstroke symbol from Zen Buddhism, representing wholeness, presence and the flow of life. From there, we entered a creative process where I developed several sketches based on her vision. After a few iterations, we landed on a minimalist and refined symbol that communicates calm, meaning and balance.

A present and personal digital platform created through the course

Karin’s new website is not only the result of course material, but also an expression of her desire to understand the tools she uses and communicate her work on her own terms. Creating the website through an online course for website creation gave her a new relationship with technology, structure and content.

The finished website feels personal, clear and warm. It represents not only her services, but also her voice and presence. The new logo, with its soft circular form, reinforces a sense of calm and direction. Together, the website and visual identity form a meaningful and coherent digital presence.

“The course with Erika gave me so much inspiration to develop my website. I was worried that my technical skills would not be enough, but Erika has a way of explaining even more advanced parts in a way that makes everything feel easy to follow and complete. The structure of the course is very clear, with well balanced lesson lengths. Erika is pedagogical and her pace is calm, which creates a sense of safety and allows me to keep up. I especially appreciate that every video shows exactly what to do in each step. The course included everything I hoped for, and from feeling uncertain about digital tools, I now look forward to learning more.”

Real value is created when the client grows

Working with Karin in this way was a reminder that the greatest value does not always come from the most visually complex solution. Often, the most meaningful outcome is creating space for learning, confidence and independence.

With guidance, structure and freedom, Karin built something that feels sustainable, both technically and emotionally.
